4...

Our last Sunday in the States started with a great family breakfast and a relaxing morning.  We went to church together and then out to lunch (egg roll, sushi, and pad Thai... yes please).  After lunch, we headed out to the farm one last time.  We LOVE the farm.  The kids (especially M) would live there if we'd agree.  They love the animals, they love rolling down the hill, they love going for rides around the property on the gators, they just love the farm.  I don't blame them... I've always loved playing on the farm.

We got to help Papa release a large snapping turtle into the creek, went for a gator ride, took some pictures, and ran around for a while.  It was a difficult farewell to be sure.  We will miss the fall trips up for hayrides and pumpkins, winter trips to sled down the hill and behind the tractor, spring trips to see everything bloom, Easter egg hunts, gardening, baby calves...  There's a lot of predictability in the farm, I like that..  I'll miss that.

We stopped for one last mini grocery trip then came home for salad night, some skyping time, and a bit of organizing for packing up tomorrow.  We have to know how many pieces of luggage we will have and if any of them will be over the 50lb allowance per bag.  We save some $$ by paying for overweight bags on line 72 hours in advance.  Something to check on if you are traveling overseas.

I didn't bring the ipad for pictures today.. sorry.
