After our super busy days last week, we needed a bit of a down day
today. We started our last Saturday in the US with a drive "up north."
If you aren't a Michigander, this is a term that we use to mean going
up to the lake or some other northern destination. A good friend of
mine (from Ft. Wayne) was up at a her family's summer house for the
weekend, and invited us up. The kids had a great time playing in the
water and sand and I had a great time getting to chill with C one last
time (for a while). It was very difficult saying this farewell, but I'm
so thankful for Skype! We came home and had a really restful afternoon
and are currently having a puzzle evening.
I'm really thankful for a restful day!
