So, we're moving to Doha in about 10 weeks and aside from close friends and family, I haven't made the announcement yet. I'm not sure what the hold up is, but I just seem to have a block about doing it. Maybe I don't want to deal with all the questions, maybe I don't believe we are really going, maybe I don't want to make the countdown even longer.. I don't know.
I started packing today, 7 boxes down. It's a start. We've been doing paperwork for months, preparing our kids for months, downsizing for months... but yesterday we got our flight arrangements from the school in Doha (gulp). I think that's what prompted the packing and sudden thoughts of telling the next circle of friends.
I'm thinking of trying to make a fun announcement, but I'll probably just update my facebook status: we're moving to Doha... here read my blog. Yeah, that will work.
